The energy and excitement of the 60s, 70s and 80s music scene became Millar's childhood references and continue to inspire her performances to this day.   Exploring the musical heritage of Tina Turner was a logical choice for Millar, not in the least because of similar voice characteristics, but mostly due to being deeply moved by Anna Mae Bullock's life story and her enormous respect for the artist baptized 'Tina Turner' by Ike Turner. It was Ike who took Anna Mae Bullock out of Nutbush and created a star, but who would also let her live a genuine hell on earth for 16 years.    This demo CD opens with the Phil Spector master piece 'River Deep Mountain High' (1966 ), a smash hit across Europe and a collaboration that would deeply affect Tina in a positive way, laying the first stone of the independence, a path she would finally take when leaving Ike in 1976.   Known for her musicality, and 'big voice'  with a track record of more than 20 years of activity on the European music scene, Mo Millar is a safe bet.
